ARRIVING IN BERGEN

BERGEN AIRPORT [info about Bergen airport]
TO THE CITY BY BUS | The air port bus is located just outside the main entrance. It takes ca. 30-40 minutes to the city centre and costs NOK 70. If you are staying at Hotel Terminus you should get off the bus at the train station. The hotel is located just across the street. If you are staying at Rica, you should get off at SAS Hotel Norge. Your hotel is just around the corner. The bus driver will annonce the stops over the speaker.

TO THE CITY BY TAXI | There are two main taxi companies in Bergen: Norges Taxi and Bergen Taxi. Norges Taxi offers fixed price from the airport to the city center, NOK 222. Ask the driver if he has fixed price. Especially if you arrive during rush hours (3-5 in the afternoon), this is a good deal.

GENERAL FLIGHT INFORMATION

Bergen International Airport Flesland has direct flights from Oslo, London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Aberdeen and other European cities. The main airlines serving Bergen are SAS Braathens, Norwegian and KLM. Low-cost flights from London Stansted are available with Norwegian (direct). The SAS airbus shuttle connects Flesland and the city centre with 15 min. intervals. Travel time is approximately 35 minutes, NOK 70 (ca 8 EURO). Taxi is 25 min, approx. NOK 300 (35 EURO)
